The battery is large, but has much more capacity than the slender six-cell model. (Consider this a design feature “for better ventilation, and not an ugly, heavy, anchor.) Make sure to check with all suppliers that they send a genuine HP battery, not a generic imitation. Also re- Check the battery model number, make sure that this is the model you need.

This laptop battery is so impressive. I can get on average 5.6 hours charging this battery, which is much more than they ever imagined. But on average, 5.6 hours is amazing, if I used only about 45 minutes outside the original 6-cell battery that comes with the laptop originally given. This is my first 12-cell battery. I’m not sure where they are supposed to be so big, but this is without doubt. I bought the laptop (dv6125se) last month, so really only discharge the battery once (if connected). I have watched about 4 hours of operation of the software, reboot and install other maintenance. I really think this is fair because all other batteries that I used was about 1. 5-2 hours in the real world.
The laptop is a Turion 64 X2 running at level 1. 8GHz.
My beef is that big. Reality additional 6-cell battery in your height, effectively doubled. Because the battery is mounted on the back of the bottom case, this has the effect of the handset and the desire for me. One advantage is the improvement of the joint cooling: the interior is always well ventilated, because of the extra breathing space.
I could be wrong, but simply a hand weight, it seems that the battery itself almost the whole laptop weighs. There is a huge hole on the left when the battery is removed. . . HP did not design a cover of an empty battery compartment.

I use the dv2000 battery. The laptop is very hot and sometimes helps air circulate underneath the battery. Battery life is excellent – minimum was 4 hours – since I had this battery a month ago. It is relatively heavy, however.
