The phrase “Freedom of Speech” is another way to make you believe that you are actually liberated. The truth is this… You have the “freedom to speak” but you have no right to speak ill about others. As doing such a thing has it’s repercussions.
When an individual is defending him/her self then they have the right to engage their attacker with the same manner as they are being attacked.
You have to analyse this more carefully. the problem here is not freedom of speech as a concept, but the hypocritic interviewer. the comedian is the only person in this film that is following the principle of freedom of speech consequently. in the end he was not mocking the jews but, showing to me as a democratic european how fragile our values are and that they have to be defended by more intelligent people than this interviewer.
